Parents and children gather to discuss their reading!

This new monthly book club will provide a common communication forum for parents and children ages 9 - 12.  And, also promote interaction with other parents and young people who enjoy great books. We meet and discuss historical fiction and an occasional history book.

Club to meet monthly on fourth Thursdays, excluding holidays.

Cindy Wellins is the facilitator.

In observance of CDC guidelines and Texas reopening guidelines, the following social distancing guidelines will be followed for Parent-Child book club registrations and also for many other group programs.

The focal point of story time or event will be the Purple Couch, a 6’ line is marked in front of the couch as a reminder of safe distancing. At this time, family units will need to be spaced widely apart. Please be respectful of those who continue to wear a mask.

1 Family Unit per chair consists of 1 Adult and 1 – 2 children seated on the floor and staying close to their adult.

Registration is required for all programs.
